Starting psychotherapy is like planting the seed for personal growth. Let’s grow something together.

Our services.

  • Initial Consultation

Curious about how therapy can help you? Schedule a free 20-minute consultation with me to explore your goals and see if we're a good fit. This is a great way to get a sense of how we might work together.

  • Intake

In your first session, we'll conduct a thorough evaluation to understand your current concerns, past mental health experiences, and relevant medical, social, and cultural factors. This comprehensive approach helps us see the big picture, clarify your goals, and develop a plan for moving forward together.

  • Individual Therapy

Ongoing online therapy sessions are all about observing, clarifying, unlearning, and growing. Each 50-minute session, ideally held once a week, helps us build a trusting and supportive relationship as we work together towards your goals.

  • Couples Therapy

Couples therapy offers a supportive space for you and your partner to explore your relationship and figure out the next best steps for both of you. In a warm and non-judgmental environment, we'll work together to improve communication and address challenges, helping you both make informed decisions about your future, whether that means strengthening your bond or understanding how to move forward.

Breathe Easy is an out of network provider

I am not in network with any insurance providers which gives us the luxury of more freedom in our work together and I am better able to maintain your confidentiality. This doesn’t mean you have no options, however.

I strongly encourage you to check with your insurance to determine whether you have out of network mental health benefits. If that is the case, I am happy to provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement at the end of every month. Here are some helpful questions to ask your insurance company about out-of-network benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits? Does it include out of network benefits for outpatient mental health?

  • Do I have an out of network deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet? How much does my plan reimburse for out of network benefits once I have reached my deductible?

  • Is there a maximum allowed fee that my insurance plan will reimburse?

  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?

  • Do I need a referral from an in network provider to see an out of network provider?

  • How do I submit claims for reimbursement?

Reduced Fee Services: Sliding scale options are available on a limited basis. My practice is one that is committed to a redistribution of wealth. What this means is, while you might not know the other people I’m working with, what you have in common is you’re all working with me. So part of determining your fee is recognizing that it all goes into a communal pot. If you’re able to pay more than another person, you are helping that other person receive therapy services they might not otherwise have access to. The way I would like you to think about what you’re able to pay is to reflect on what would allow you to come to therapy every week without having to give up anything else that feels life sustaining to you.
